Robert runs the highly regarded classical music blog, Planet Hugill and in 2013 was named as one of Saga Magazine’s Top 50 Bloggers Over 50. The blog regularly covers classical music news and live music previews, with concert, opera and recording reviews. Recent comments about the blog from supporters,

Robert writes the programme notes for the Conway Hall Sunday Concert Series, the longest running chamber music concert series in Europe, and has written programme notes for St John’s Smith Square, and contributed articles for English Touring Opera programme books.
